  • DVS is a lovely small village school with a great community spirit. Its appealing attributes include attentive teachers and a desire to see the students thrive and grow. Communication to parents is excellent, from the Tapestry programme in Reception to regular newsletters and emails. In addition, having their class teachers and Headteacher at the school gate highlight how accessible the staff are.

Welcome from the Headteacher

On behalf of our staff and governors I would like to warmly welcome you and your children to Denham Village School.

Denham Village School aims to provide a friendly, caring and secure environment in which all children are valued, and strive to reach their full potential: living out our school values of Respect, Resilience, Kindness, Aspiration and Independence.

We aim to ensure that every child is treated as an individual, their gifts and talents are recognised, and their achievements celebrated. Through nurturing our pupils, both academically and socially, we strive to provide them with secure foundations for life, so that they leave Denham Village School with an excellent all-rounded education, a love for learning, and the ability to recognise and celebrate their own talents and strengths.

Our school offers a beautiful, well-resourced environment where children are taught in mixed-age group classes where a passion for learning is at the heart of everything we do. We work hard to know our children, and nurture them as they grow into independent learners providing them with opportunities to experience exciting lessons in the classroom, onsite Forest School, as well as carefully planned visits and workshops to bring greater depth to their learning.
